lyrics

Verse 1:

An only child alone with out a father. Alone. A mother working late hours. He goes to Catholic school. Hyperactive class clown. Some think that he's cool some think he's a fool. They said he's got problems with focus. They give him medication cuz they're hopeless and lazy. Maybe it drove him a little crazy, but no one seemed to notice his suicidal thoughts written in his opus. What a sad child. Mom and dad cared more about their own personal beef, guile and ignorant life styles than what was better for the child. Me? I thought it was ok. Now I see those were the old day and now I'm free. No one can change me but me indeed. They misled, but now I lead. Now it's my tuen. My knowledge will plant the seed. Make them grow and give them what they need. A child of my own I plead!

Hook:

Looking for peace inside my heart.
Trying to forgive. Well that's a start.
I know me now. Once I was lost,
but now I'm found. Love is the cost
and it helps the self. (2x)

Verse 2:

A young man grows in defiance. A young man shows no alliance. Disturbed visions cross his mind on occasion. An anger embedded inside him cause him to start blazing. He needs an escape from what he thinks he can't take. He seems so irate so his melancholy inflates. Amazing how he could still hold a conversation. He starts looking outside. He starts looking at the nation and he begins pacing. A paranoia, all that time wasted. His fears increase as each year deceased called his name no peace. He tried New York, he tried Arizona. He dropped out so no diploma. Mom was never proud. At least that's the way he felt. Mom was in a coma. Mom wanted to be young with out a child, a loner. He learned loneliness from her, but what? She wasn't, isn't human? Maybe you were fuming before but it was all consuming. I wrote Alice when those thoughts floated like black birds. Now she and I speak like old friends with lovely words. I'm changing as a man, as a person. I got hope now. All she can say is my son I love you. You've changed so much. Wow.

Verse 3:

Now an adult I speak clear. I look directly in their eyes with no fear. Once a shy and lost kid. Now an MC with a dream. Look what I did! I'm on tour in Europe and going to film my first vid. I never want to go back to that death. That ignorance, that childlessness. I'd rather breathe my last breath. I can't hate like that. Breaking mirrors with my fists. I bled for nothing. Just cuz I'm pissed isn't enough to risk these hands that can. The hands have a plan. Well actually the plan is for this man, me. S-E--V-E-N S-T-A-R now free by far. The Lamarckian Star. Yo dad you are loved. Yo mom I place no one above. I'm sending out a sign. I'm sending out a dove. For my arc is arched and resting. Saved by God it'self. For years this rhyme was nesting. Now the world is visible this year, this moment while I'm questing is the best thing. Today is my day. I say it loud. I'm confessing the rest of my life should be interesting.
